If random websites open when you start your browser, it is usually because those URLs are added in Auto Start URLs in Auto Refresh Plus (ARP).
This feature is designed to automatically open and refresh selected pages when the browser starts.
Why This Happens
- URLs are added in Auto Start URLs
- On Browser Restart option is enabled
- ARP automatically opens those pages on startup
This is expected behavior, not a bug.
How to Fix This
Remove or Disable Auto Start URLs
- Open Auto Refresh Plus
- Go to General Settings → Auto Start URLs
- Review the list of saved URLs
- Remove unwanted URLs or disable startup option

What Auto Start Does
- Opens selected URLs automatically
- Starts refresh without manual action
- Works on browser startup (if enabled)
Important Notes
- This setting is global
- Only exact URLs are opened (no wildcards on restart)
- Removing URLs stops them from opening
Summary
Random websites opening at startup are caused by Auto Start URLs. Removing or disabling them from General Settings will stop this behavior.
