Auto Refresh Plus keeps you informed when a monitored event occurs through browser notifications, on-page alerts, voice announcements, email, webhook integrations, or automatic window focus. Whether it’s a keyword detection, page change, captcha, or error condition, these alerts help you stay updated and respond quickly, even when the monitored tab is inactive or running in the background.
Auto Refresh Plus sends instant browser notifications when a monitored keyword appears, disappears, a page changes, or events such as CAPTCHA detection or error-page detection occur. Notifications work even when the monitored tab is in the background, minimized, or inactive, making them useful for tracking product availability, ticket releases, price changes, CAPTCHA challenges, and page errors without continuously watching the page.
Notifications appear as standard browser alerts and can be configured in General Settings, including notification sounds, voice announcements, voice configuration, notification messages, and sound duration. When voice announcements are enabled, Auto Refresh Plus reads the notification message aloud after the start sound. You can select and preview the voice before using it.

Auto Refresh Plus also supports on-page notifications displayed directly inside the monitored webpage, separately from browser or system notifications. These can be enabled or disabled and configured to dismiss automatically after playback. When automatic dismissal is enabled, hovering over the notification pauses the dismissal timer.
Test Play lets you verify the notification sound, voice announcement, notification message, and on-page notification behavior without waiting for an actual monitoring event.

When a keyword is found, lost, or a change is detected, the extension sends structured event data to the configured webhook endpoint.
Webhook setup is done in two steps.
First, configure the webhook in General Settings by defining a name, selecting the service type, and entering the webhook URL. Supported services include Custom URL, Discord, Slack, Telegram, and Ntfy.
Second, enable webhook notifications from the extension popup for each page you want to monitor. This ensures webhook events are triggered only for selected URLs.

This feature is useful when monitoring runs in background tabs or while you are working in another application. As soon as the defined condition is triggered, the browser window gains focus so you can quickly view the detected change.
For example, if you are monitoring a product page for “In Stock”, the browser window will automatically come to the front when the keyword appears.
This option can be enabled per page from the extension popup or set globally from General Settings for all monitored pages.
