Auto Refresh Plus (ARP) supports wildcard URLs in the Auto Start URLs feature. This allows you to automatically start refreshing multiple pages that follow a similar URL pattern.
Understanding Wildcard URLs
Wildcard URLs let you match multiple pages using a single rule.
Asterisk (*) → Matches any number of characters
Example:example.com/*→ Matches all pages on the domainSubdomain wildcard
*.example.com/*→ Matches all subdomains and pagesBase domain
example.com→ Matches both HTTP and HTTPS versions
How to Configure Auto Start URLs (with Wildcards)
- Open Auto Refresh Plus
- Go to General Settings → Autostart
- Add your URL or wildcard pattern
- Enable required options:
- Refresh on URL Opening → Automatically start refresh when matching URL is opened

Important Notes
⚠️ Wildcard URLs are not supported with "On Browser Restart".
Wildcard rules will only work when the URL is opened, not after restarting the browser.
Benefits of Using Wildcards
- Apply refresh rules to multiple pages at once
- Avoid adding each URL manually
- Useful for dynamic pages like dashboards, listings, and product pages
Summary
Wildcard URLs in Auto Refresh Plus help you automate refresh behavior across multiple related pages using a single rule, making monitoring faster and more efficient.
