With the Page Monitor feature, Auto Refresh Plus (ARP) can track multiple keywords simultaneously. Simply add several keywords to your monitoring list, and the extension will alert you whenever any of them meets the selected monitoring condition.
How to Monitor Multiple Keywords
Follow these steps:
- Open the Auto Refresh Plus extension
- Go to the Monitor tab
- Select a monitoring mode such as:
- Alert on Keyword Found
- Alert on Keyword Lost
- Enter multiple keywords in the monitoring input
- Start monitoring the page
Each keyword acts as a separate trigger condition. If one of the monitored keywords matches the selected monitoring rule, Auto Refresh Plus will trigger an alert.
When Monitoring Multiple Keywords Is Useful
Tracking multiple keywords can help when monitoring pages that may use different text for the same event.
Common examples include:
- Product availability pages
- Job listings
- Ticket releases
- Status updates
- Inventory monitoring
For example, you may want to monitor:
- In Stock
- Available
- Add to Cart
- Buy Now
If any of these keywords appears on the page, the monitor can detect the change and trigger an alert.
Supported Keyword Types
Page Monitor supports more than simple text matching.
You can monitor using:
- Plain Text
- Regular Expressions (Regex)
- CSS Selectors
- XPath Expressions
This allows you to create more advanced monitoring rules when required.
Important Notes
- Multiple keywords can be used within the same monitoring configuration
- Each keyword is treated as an independent trigger condition
- Monitoring can be combined with notifications, email alerts, and webhooks
- Advanced users can use Regex, CSS Selectors, or XPath for more precise detection
Summary
Auto Refresh Plus supports monitoring multiple keywords within a single Page Monitor configuration. Add the keywords you want to track, start monitoring, and the extension will notify you whenever a matching condition is detected.
