How to Show a Countdown on the Webpage
There are two ways to enable and customize the countdown timer in Auto Refresh Plus:
1. Using the Popup
- Open the Auto Refresh Plus extension.
- Go to the Interval tab.
- Scroll down to Show Visual Timer on the Page.
- Enable the option.
- Choose the timer position:
- Top Left
- Top Right
- Bottom Left
- Bottom Right
- Center
- Click Start.
Once enabled, a countdown timer will appear on the webpage and update in real time.
2. Using Extension Settings for Global Implementation
If you want the countdown timer settings to apply automatically to all websites:
- Open Extension Settings.
- Go to Time Interval.
- Enable Visual Timer by Default.
- Choose the default timer position:

- Bottom Right
- Center
- Select the default timer style:
