The Settings Profiles feature in Auto Refresh Plus (ARP) allows you to create and manage different configurations for multiple devices or use cases. It helps you switch between setups without reconfiguring everything manually.
How Settings Profiles Work
A Settings Profile is a saved collection of your extension settings, including refresh behavior, monitoring rules, and automation preferences.
- You can create multiple profiles
- Each device can be assigned one profile
- Profiles are managed from the Master Device
- Secondary devices automatically sync assigned profiles
Note: Profiles with no assigned devices are marked as inactive.
Create a Settings Profile
- Open the dashboard
- Go to Settings Profiles
- Click Create Profile
- Configure your settings
- Save the profile
The profile is now ready to be assigned to devices.
Assign Profile to a Device
- Go to Devices
- Select the device
- Click Edit
- Choose a profile
- Save changes
The selected profile will instantly sync to that device.
Bulk Assign Devices
To assign multiple devices:
- Go to Settings Profiles
- Edit a profile
- Open the Devices tab
- Select multiple devices
Each device can only be assigned to one profile at a time.
Duplicate, Export, and Import Profiles
You can manage profiles efficiently:
- Duplicate → Create a copy of an existing profile
- Export → Save profile settings locally
- Import → Restore or share configurations
This helps with backup and quick setup across devices.
