Auto Refresh Plus includes an Active Tabs section that allows you to view all tabs where auto refresh is currently running. This makes it easier to monitor active refresh sessions, check their status, and quickly switch to the tab you need.
How to View Active Refresh Tabs
Follow these steps:
- Open the Auto Refresh Plus extension
- Select the Tabs tab
- Review the list of tabs with active refresh sessions
The Active Tabs view displays webpages that currently have auto refresh enabled, along with their refresh status.
What You Can Do from Active Tabs
The Active Tabs section helps you manage multiple refresh sessions from a single location.
You can:
- View tabs where auto refresh is currently active
- Check the status of running refresh sessions
- Switch directly to a monitored tab
- Stop refreshing a tab without searching for it manually
This is especially useful when monitoring multiple websites at the same time.
Tabs With Alerts
If Page Monitor detects a change or triggers an alert, the tab can also appear in the alerts section of Active Tabs.
This allows you to:
- Quickly identify tabs with detected changes
- Open alerted tabs immediately
- Review monitored pages that require attention
Additional alert retention options can be configured from General Settings.
Important Notes
- Active Tabs only displays tabs where Auto Refresh Plus is currently running
- Closing a tab removes it from the Active Tabs list
- Tabs with monitoring alerts can be managed separately from normal refresh sessions
- Active Tabs is available directly from the extension popup
Summary
The Active Tabs feature provides a centralized view of all webpages currently being refreshed by Auto Refresh Plus. It helps you monitor active sessions, switch between tabs, and manage refresh activity more efficiently when working with multiple websites.
