If Auto Refresh Plus (ARP) stops refreshing and shows “YES” on the icon, it means the Page Monitor has detected a condition (such as a keyword match) and triggered an action.
Why This Happens
Page Monitor reacts when specific conditions are met on a webpage.
- Detects keywords (found or lost)
- Tracks content changes
- Stops refresh based on monitoring rules
By default, refresh may stop once the condition is triggered.
Check Page Monitor Settings (Popup)
- Open the extension
- Go to Monitor section
- Review your setup:
- Remove keywords if not needed
- Or adjust monitoring behavior
If keywords are set, the extension may stop refreshing when a match is detected.
Continue Refreshing After Alert
If you want to keep refreshing even after a keyword is detected:
From Popup (Per Website)
- Open extension → Monitor
- Enable Continue Refreshing After Alert
This allows the page to keep refreshing even after detection.
From General Settings (All Websites)
- Enable Continue Refreshing on Keyword Detection
- Control behavior for all monitored pages
When to Use This
- Stop on detection → when you only need one alert
- Continue refreshing → when tracking repeated changes
Summary
The “YES” indicator means Page Monitor has detected a condition. If you don’t want refresh to stop, enable Continue Refreshing After Alert or adjust your monitoring settings.
