Auto Refresh Plus (ARP) can send alerts directly to Discord using the Webhook Notifications feature. When a monitored event occurs, such as a keyword being found, lost, or a page change being detected, the extension can automatically send a notification to your Discord channel.
How to Receive Alerts in Discord
Follow these steps:
1. Create a Discord Webhook
In Discord:
- Open the channel where you want to receive alerts
- Go to Channel Settings
- Select Integrations
- Click Webhooks
- Create a new webhook
- Copy the webhook URL
2. Configure Discord Webhook in Auto Refresh Plus
- Open General Settings
- Go to Notifications
- Select Webhooks
- Click Add Webhook
- Enter a name for the webhook
- Select Discord as the service type
- Paste your Discord webhook URL
- Save the configuration
3. Enable Webhook Alerts for a Website
Webhook notifications must be enabled for each monitored page.
- Open the Auto Refresh Plus extension
- Go to the Monitor tab
- Enable Receive Webhook Alerts
- Select the Discord webhook you configured
When Are Discord Alerts Sent?
Discord notifications are sent when a monitoring event occurs, such as:
- Keyword Found
- Keyword Lost
- Page Change Detected
When triggered, Auto Refresh Plus sends event information to Discord automatically.
Important Notes
- Creating a webhook in General Settings alone will not send notifications
- Webhook alerts must also be enabled from the extension popup for the monitored page
- Discord alerts only work when a monitoring event is detected
- Each monitored page can use its own webhook configuration
Summary
Receive monitoring alerts in Discord by connecting Auto Refresh Plus to a Discord webhook. After creating a webhook and adding it to the extension's General Settings, simply enable webhook alerts for a monitored page. Any detected monitoring event will then be posted automatically to your Discord channel.
