How to Prevent Browser Window from Coming to Front

If your browser window keeps coming to the front while using Auto Refresh Plus (ARP), it is due to the Window Focus feature.

Disable Window Focus (General Settings)

  1. Open Auto Refresh Plus
  2. Go to General Settings → Page Monitor
  3. Find Enable Window Focus on Keyword Detection
  4. Disable the option

What This Does

  • Enabled → Brings the tab/window to the front on detection or events
  • Disabled → Keeps refresh and monitoring running in the background

When You Should Disable It

  • Monitoring pages in background tabs
  • Running multiple workflows without interruption
  • Avoiding focus switching during alerts

Important Notes

  • This is a global setting (applies to all pages)
  • It only affects window behavior, not refresh functionality
  • Mostly used with Page Monitor alerts
