Auto Start URLs in Auto Refresh Plus (ARP) only control when a page should start refreshing automatically. They do not store refresh intervals or monitoring settings themselves.
How Auto Start URLs Work
- Refresh on URL Opening → Starts refresh automatically when the page is opened
- Refresh on Browser Restart → Reopens saved URLs and starts refresh (only for exact URLs)
Auto Start only triggers the refresh, it does not define how the page behaves.
Important Concept
Each URL must have its own settings configured from the popup.
- Refresh interval
- Page Monitor (keywords, alerts)
- Auto click or other features
These settings are saved per page (slug), not inside Auto Start.
How to Configure Properly
Step 1: Add Auto Start URLs (General Settings)
- Go to General Settings → Autostart
- Add the URLs you want to automate
- Enable:
- Refresh on URL Opening
- Refresh on Browser Restart (if needed)
Step 2: Configure Each Page (Popup)
- Open each URL in your browser
- Open the extension popup
- Set:
- Refresh interval
- Page Monitor (keywords, alerts)
- Any additional settings
- Refresh interval
These settings will be saved for that specific page.
Why This Design Matters
- Each page can have different behavior
- Example:
- Page A → Refresh every 5 seconds
- Page B → Monitor “In Stock”
- Page C → No monitoring, only refresh
This makes Auto Refresh Plus flexible and powerful.
Summary
Auto Start URLs only control automatic start behavior.
All refresh intervals and monitoring settings must be configured per page from the popup to work correctly.
